- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Possible call
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain Vermont RN license
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience, including recent inpatient psychiatric nursing experience (within last 3 months)
- Experience with adult behavioral health, psychiatric care, and co-occurring disorders
- Willingness to float to other behavioral health units and take charge nurse shifts
- Ability to work every other weekend as required by the healthcare facility
- Must be able to start on September 22, 2025 (no exceptions)

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess and address individual and group patient needs in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver complex care for adults with acute psychiatric and addiction issues
- Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers, ensuring safe and therapeutic care delivery
- Support patients through medically assisted withdrawal, stabilization, and provide education for ongoing recovery
- Participate in rapid intervention and acute crisis stabilization for adults experiencing severe mental health episodes
- Float to other behavioral health units and take charge nurse responsibilities as needed
