
Remote Electrical Analysis Engineer

- Perform derate analysis on LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) designs against Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Analyze electrical components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, and other COTS parts using datasheet specifications.
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets with built-in equations to conduct and document analysis.
- Collaborate with a small team of engineers to review and validate design spreadsheets for multiple custom board designs.
- Apply LTSPICE, MATLAB, and other simulation tools to verify electrical performance and reliability.
- Support EMI/EMC and power modeling efforts using Ansys.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on electrical robustness and compliance.
- Interface with design teams using Altium (Altium expertise not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of core EE principles, especially in circuit analysis and component behavior.
- Experience with LTSPICE, MATLAB, and Excel-based analysis tools.
- Ability to interpret datasheets and apply derating principles to COTS components.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Ansys for EMI/EMC and power modeling is a plus.
- Prior experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability electronics is preferred.
