This position is responsible for education of incarcerated individuals, complete assessments and treatment plans, and be able to run groups focused on skills necessary to assist individuals in gaining long term success.We are searching for a full-time QMHP to assist with transitioning clients from incarceration to the community. - Masters Degree Required (Psychologist, Social Worker or Counselor)
- Candidates must have a valid Michigan license to provide therapy.
- Credentialing through MCBAP preferred but not required.

Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.Licensure
Current and unencumbered license in the State of Michigan through the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.Experience

1. Background screening as required by Section 7.
2. OIG, SAM, OFAC and NSO screening.
3. Current health provider CPR from the American Heart Association at the BLS level.
4. Hepatitis B Statement or Declination [OSHA 29 CFR, 1910.1030(f)(2)].
5. Two-step TB test prior to entering the correctional facility. This test consists of two-step testing with one week between tests, unless the applicant supplies documentation of a negative TB skin test result within the preceding 12 months. A temporary staff employee may not commence employment until the second TB test results are confirmed negative. A temporary staff employee with a previous positive TB test result must provide current documentation of a negative chest x-ray performed in the last 30 days. The Quantiferon Gold test may be used in lieu of the two-step TB test.
6. Drug screening will be a 5-panel drug screen test that tests for: Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Marijuana, and PCP.Environmental Working Conditions

- Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
- The physical demands are representative of those that may be required by an employee to successfully perform the representative duties and responsibilities of the job. Applicant should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.
- A pre-employment physical is required for this position: The physical will determine if the temporary staff employee can handle the physical demands of the work, which include the following items:
- a. The employee must be able to perform CPR;
- b. lift at least 30 pounds;
- c. walk up and down the stairs;
- d. position patients;
- e. walk long distances;
- f. stand for prolonged periods, and,
- g. use restraints and aggressive behavior management practices.
- Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
- Provides individual and/or group treatment and social casework for residents/clients and families.
- Serves within a treatment team to diagnosis problems, formulate treatment plans, and evaluating progress.
- Prepares social-psychiatric case information, psychosocial assessment, and social work treatment plans, for use in pre-admission screening & diagnosis.
- Arranges for placement of residents in suitable homes; assist in patient adjustments to the community; evaluates patient needs for future care.
- Helps residents arrange and receive facility services such as: patient workshops, meetings/conferences, locate employment opportunities for eligible residents.
- Maintains confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility and staff in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
