This team specializes in designing and building automated assembly systems. We are looking for an Advanced Mechanical Engineer to help us bring these machines to life — from concept to completion.Success Criteria:Bringing a proactive mindset to work, the Advanced Mechanical Engineer will support the design and integration of automated equipment alongside a multidisciplinary team. You’ll contribute to mechanical concepts, CAD modeling, and design reviews for a variety of custom automation systems — helping bring our customers’ ideas to life.In this role, you'll continue developing your mechanical engineering skillset by working through real-world design challenges, learning from experienced engineers, and gradually taking on greater ownership of your work. Our starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $85,000-$105,000 Annually.Requirements:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in machine design
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling packages – SolidWorks preferred
  • Ability to manage system or sub-system design from the concept phase through detailed modeling and drafting
  • Familiarity with common commercial automation components – pneumatics, motors, linear and rotary motion devices, robots, etc.
  • Familiarity with common custom machine fabrication techniques, focusing on machining but including sheet metal fabrication and welding
  • Experience producing detailed fabrication drawings for custom machine components
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive projects to completion
  • The drive to consistently deliver on commitments
