Contact Shawn Recker at or 319-804-9996 to learn more about this opportunity!The Financial Reporting Analyst will perform a broad range of accounting and financial analyst responsibilities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Key Responsibilities**Write and run SQL, JET and Power BI reports related to financial transactions
**Create monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external users
**Reconcile general ledger accounts
**Reconcile bank accounts
**Create and post general ledger entries
**Pull data from outside platforms for reporting
**Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
**Create ad hoc reports
**Assist in month end closing processSecondary Functions:
**Banking duties
**Pulling data for audit requests
**Other duties as assignedExpected hours of work:
M-F 8a-5p (Hybrid - In office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Travel: N/AJob Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.Experience:
**Experience with reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, JET Reporting as well as experience with ERP SoftwareSkills and Qualifications:
**Ability to find and solve complex data problems
**Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to draw meaningful conclusions from data
**Proven ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner
**Skilled in communicating findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
**High level of mindfulness and accuracy in all aspects of work
**Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
