Overview 🚀We’re looking for a driven Project Engineer to join our fast-paced team focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an advanced injection molding and automation environment. This is a hands-on role with high visibility across departments and a chance to make a real impact on production performance and innovation.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for injection molding and automated manufacturing processes
  • Partner with tooling, automation, and production teams to enhance equipment reliability, throughput, and uptime
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving valves, actuators, pumps, compressors, and other fluid power components
  • Contribute to metal-to-plastic conversion initiatives with integrated fluid power solutions
  • Analyze system performance and recommend upgrades or redesigns to improve efficiency and safety
  • Ensure all systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system designs, maintenance procedures, and engineering changes
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic/pneumatic systems within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with fluid power components and control systems
  • Experience with budgeting, estimating, and vendor coordination
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Work EnvironmentThis is a fully onsite role in a collaborative, fast-moving manufacturing setting. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and leadership teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
