Overview:We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven General Manager to lead our high-performing home services business in the greater Toledo area.This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, driving financial performance, and developing a strong team culture. With full P&L ownership, the General Manager will lead strategic, financial, and operational initiatives to build a world-class business.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive key performance metrics, including revenue, sales conversions, average invoice, employee retention, customer satisfaction, and maintenance subscription plans
  • Deliver a “gold standard” of service and quality through effective training, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
  • Cultivate a culture of purpose and collaboration, fostering employee engagement and retention at all levels
  • Lead efforts to expand employment opportunities, impacting through career growth and skill development
  • Manage all financial activities, including budgeting and forecasting, with accountability for achieving performance goals and optimizing P&L
  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader, with daily in-person presence required in the greater Toledo area.
Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A minimum of 5+ years managing teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience directly owning and managing a P&L preferred, with a playbook-driven approach to leadership and hiring
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire followership
  • Energetic and optimistic attitude, adaptability to change and proven success in achieving results
  • Critical thinking and risk analysis skills to develop creative, actionable solutions
  • A deep respect for the Skilled Trades or similar industries
