- Associates degree in Math, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Pro-E, Polyworks); experience with CMM and Vision Systems preferred.
- Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong mechanical aptitude for constructing test rigs and solving complex inspection requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft software with good programming skills.
- Demonstrates flexibility, reliability, self-discipline, and willingness to tackle challenging tasks.
- Conducts dimensional measuring and calibration to verify conformance with specifications, adhering to ISO 17025 and other standards.
- Utilizes mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs for inspections.
- Manages associated documentation such as process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material documents.
- Works under direct supervision following instructions and techniques.
- Ensures timely and consistent follow-up with customers.
- Performs CMM and Vision System programming.
- Maintains document control to record data accurately.
- Conducts instrument calibration and maintenance.
- Assists in resolving unexpected or urgent situations as required.
- Implements strategies to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
- Participates in training to stay updated on professional standards.
- Adheres to company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
