Technical Support CoordinatorSt. Edward's University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Technical Support Coordinator. Provide complex technical and administrative support to the records processing function of the Dean of Students Office.Essential Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage schedules for five Dean of Students Office professional staff members.
  • Intake student, parent, staff and faculty concerns and make appropriate referrals when needed.
  • Coordinate meeting places, agendas, room setup, and catering or other space needs for Dean of Students Office.
  • Compile travel itineraries and schedule all travel accommodations including air, hotel, car rental, and any conference registration required.
  • Creation and management of records for incident reports and cases in Maxient in accordance with Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
  • Manage records requests from other university departments and third parties upon request.
  • Manage and edit St. Edward's University Student Handbook annually.
  • Create, document, and manage business processes to support the Dean of Student Office. (setting up daily agendas, note taking for meetings,
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise student office workers and student interns.
  • Assist with budget maintenance for the Dean of Students Office staff, including processing of invoices, setting up reimbursements, ordering supplies and cost effectively managing budget categories.
  • Run analytics of Maxient database for quality assurance reports, weekly, monthly, and annual numbers.
  • Edit and maintain content and layout of Dean of Students webpages.
  • Provide support to Dean of Students staff in sending community wide emails through Emma.
  • Other duties as assigned.
For consideration, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years of related university and supervisory experience. Coursework in computer technology, programming, project management or similar fields are desirable. Experience with database systems, preferably Banner. Knowledge and expertise with Maxient, Argos, Banner, Salesforce, Box, In-Design and Smartsheet software preferred. Database reporting or programming experience.
