Responsible for the following duties: open and closing procedures, security and issuance of cash and related receipts, ordering, inventory, daily reporting, and other administrative duties assigned from time to time. Ensures the food point of sale system is operational and patron receipts are accurate. May assist in developing employee work schedules and ensuring that mandatory training is completed. Makes unscheduled cash counts. Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies, equipment and property in accordance with directives and regulations. Must be alert to alcohol abuse and take appropriate action. May represent the program on committee assignments as required.Provides meaningful connections through customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.Performs other related duties as assigned.RequirementsConditions of Employment

EVALUATIONS:QualificationsA minimum of two years experience supervising operation of a club, restaurant, business operation, or equivalent leadership experience is required. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operation. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
