Visit to learn more.Role Summary:The RDC Operations Lead will be responsible for the shipping and receiving functions within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with a focus on safety and customer service. When we commit to a job, we get the job done – and we do it fast.Role Specifics:· Serve as the primary point of contact at the RDC for all operational inquiries, issues, and concerns· Oversees and coordinaties the day-to-day operations of the RDC including:· scheduling and assigning work to Hubber’s, contractors and/or 3PL operators· monitoring progress of daily workload, and· ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.· Refines existing processes and procedures to increase their effectiveness and efficiency while enhancing the RDCs’ internal capacity· Ensures that operational activities remain on-time and within budget· Monitors KPIs and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement· Collaborates with Ops teams, other RDC’s, contractors, and 3PL operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations· Addresses customer complaints to resolution or escalates (TLC’s and Customers) to the appropriate level in a professional and timely manner· Identifies and resolves any operational bottlenecks· Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practicesCompetencies:· Optimizes Work Processes: Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement· Manages Ambiguity: Operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear· Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances· Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives· Optimizes Work Processes: Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done.
