- Troubleshooting, Engineering, integration, programming of automated systems.
- Works with Quality in the implementation of defect detection and scrap reduction.
- Updates existing systems as required.
- Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor
- Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Blood borne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics
- Complies with the current revision of RIA ANSI/RIA R15.06 Safety requirements for industrial robots and robot systems, NFPA 70E National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety Requirements for Employee Workplaces, NFPA/ANSI 79 Electrical Standard for industrial equipment, ANSI/UL 1740 Safety Standard for robots and robotic equipment, and all other applicable standards governing the installation and safety of automated systems.
- When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.
- Assists the maintenance department with troubleshooting production equipment.

- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
- 5 to 10 years' experience in automation systems
- Fanuc FAPT ladder II and III programming
- Teach Pendant Programming
- Design of Electrical Panels, Wiring Diagrams and Cables
- AutoCAD
- PC office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Robot interface and integration design.
- Network experience - Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Serial, DH+
- PLC Programming - Allen Bradley 5, 500, 5000, Siemens Step 7
- Allen Bradley applications, PLC, OIT/HMI, VFD, SERVO
- Mechanical design using SolidWorks is a plus
