- Provide viral vector core services, which include core facility management, lentiviral library production, Adeno-associated virus (AAV) production, viral vector QC and analytics.
- Independently collect, analyze, interpret and present data.
- Maintain virus inventory and registry using informatics platforms such as the Benchling or Signal system. Assist with viral vector technology development and its in vitro and in vivo applications.
- Proficient in mammalian cell culture and general molecular biology techniques such as transient plasmid transfection, PCR techniques (qPCR, RT-PCR, ddPCR and dPCR) and Western blot. Working experiences with lentivirus or AAV production and application, CRISPR technology for genome editing are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and/or experiences with flow cytometer operations, electronic notebook, biochemistry and protein engineering are also a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BS/MS degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related discipline with 3+ years of laboratory research experience.
