As a Sales Development Representative, you will create and secure qualified business opportunities to generate new revenue within LexisNexis. You will quickly grow and advance into an Account Executive role within 6-12 months.ResponsibilitiesProspecting into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategiesDriving sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account ExecutivesProducing creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointmentsIdentifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customerWorking closely with Sales teams to schedule qualified demonstrations and meetings, build pipelines, and produce real business opportunitiesMeeting monthly with Management to share success stories and discuss effective sales and business development strategiesRequirementsHave a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceHave excellent lead generation or inside sales experienceBe experienced with heavy cold calling volume (50-100 outbound/day)Be a great listener, quick thinker, with the ability to work solo and as part of a teamDisplay solid verbal and written communication skillsHave great attention to detail and be able to follow defined processesHave good time management skillsBe able to use Microsoft Office applications and CRMWork in a way that works for you
