- Perform electrical engineering design and project management of street lighting, overhead and underground electric distribution systems at voltages up to 230KV;
- Perform analysis of electrical systems including NESC calculations, short circuit calculations, load flow calculations, voltage drop calculations, transformer sizing, lighting calculations, capacitor application, over-current protection and coordination;
- Prepare cost estimates and written reports; develop specifications for materials and services; promote and represent LP&L in personal contacts and presentations to customers, architects, engineers, committees and boards;
- Research and apply new materials, methods, techniques, and technologies to expand and improve the efficiency, reliability, and quality of the LP&L distribution system;
- Monitor electric systems operations and respond to emergency call-out to assist in system restoration and customer contact;
- Perform related duties as required.
