The Texas Pharmaceutical Initiative (TPI) Program/Project Manager will lead the implementation and operational management of the UT Southwestern O'Donnell School of Public Health (OSPH) components of the TPI. This position will coordinate complex, multi-institutional and multidisciplinary projects focused on identifying pharmaceutical agents that will improve the health of Texans, evidence-based clinical review of efficacy and safety, cost-effectiveness, and drug acquisition access to innovative therapeutics across the state. Reporting to the OSPH Site PI, and coordinating with the OSPH project directors, and physician and pharmacy leads, the Program/Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison to project collaborators, oversee administrative and regulatory processes, and ensure timely execution of program deliverables within budget.A core responsibility of this role includes the coordination of expert physician and pharmacist panel meetings including subspecialty pharmacy and therapeutics (P&T) style review teams across the UT health institutions and affiliated systems. The Program Manager will manage the scheduling, documentation, communication, and follow-up activities for these high-level working groups, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to engage and support senior clinicians, pharmacists, and academic leaders.BENEFITS

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
  • Education
Bachelor's Degree in science, social science, business, health-related (including nursing) field or
Master's Degree in science, social science, business, or health-related (including nursing) field or
PhD or equivalent in science, social science, business, or health-related (including nursing) field
  • Experience
6 years of related experience to include management experience with Bachelor's Degree or
4 years of related experience to include management experience with Master's Degree or
3 years of related experience to include management experience with PhD.Preferred
  • Experience
Master's degree or PhD in public health, health administration, clinical pharmacy, or a related field.Familiarity with health systems research, pharmacy policy, or therapeutics evaluation, evidence-based literature searches and clinical decision support.Prior experience coordinating cross-functional academic, clinical, and/or governmental projects.Participation in UTSW Clinical Research Mentoring Program may count toward required experience.JOB DUTIES· Coordinate the operational, administrative, and financial aspects of the OSPH components of the TPI, including:o Texas Strategic Drug Acquisition Managemento Clinical Drug Review and Support Committees· Work closely with the Site PI, OSPH project directors, and physician and pharmacy leads, clinical faculty, pharmacists, UT System leadership, and external partners to facilitate project planning and execution.· Plan, coordinate, and document meetings of expert physician and pharmacist panels across UT institutions and affiliates, including scheduling, materials preparation, attendance tracking, and follow-up.· Manage communications with subspecialty panel members and their institutions to ensure engagement, availability, and participation.· Track milestones and outcomes of clinical review teams, coordinating with the clinical analytics team and panel leads to ensure timely progression and completion of review objectives.· Manage IRB submissions, regulatory compliance, and agreements with collaborators.· Lead meeting planning and documentation for the TPI Advisory Committee and subspecialty review teams.· Track milestones, deliverables, and budget allocations across multiple workstreams and ensure timely reporting to UT System and other stakeholders.· Develop and maintain dashboards, tracking systems, and project documentation in collaboration with UTASP analytics team.· Serve as liaison with UT-affiliated and external hospitals, agencies, and pharmacy networks.· Provide administrative oversight for hiring, onboarding, and managing pharmacy analysts and other team members at OSPH involved in the TPI.· internal and external audiences.· Ensure data and program confidentiality, data-sharing compliance, and integrity of project operations.· Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
