
Facility Coordinator

- Respond, process, and resolve internal facilities work requests via CMMS system supporting local and remote facilities. Manage work being done by local contractors & subcontractors.
- Perform, track, and document basic preventive maintenance and repairs on support infrastructure systems including (but not limited to) UPS systems, DI water, BSC/hoods/grossing stations utilizing CMMS; maintains records of inspections and service contracts
- Respond to urgent repair and service issues and emergencies; supports emergency preparedness and response plans
- Monitor BMS and adjust to create safe, compliant, and comfortable work environment including lighting, exhaust, HVAC
- Maintain safety and appearance of work areas; oversees management of janitorial services
- Act as liaison for landlord and building management and co-tenants
- Participates in special projects as assigned
- Coordinate with and support Zoetis functions related to facilities, including Technical Operations, EHS, Purchasing & Inventory, Security, IT etc.
- Attends and participates in team meetings
- Perform other related duties as required / assigned
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field preferred
- 2+ years pf experience in facilities coordination or similar
- Experience in a laboratory, medical, aerospace, or manufacturing environment preferred
- CRST preferred
- Experience and capability with safely working with a variety of hand and power tools
- Experience working with and basic knowledge of trades and managing their work including plumbing, HVACR and electrical
- Experience working virtually and with colleagues across different regions and time zones
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Suite applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with or adeptness to web applications such BMS, CMMS, inventory systems, and parcel services
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical mobility is required, as well as the ability to alternately sit and stand for several hours at a time
