Complete representative sampling process for raw materials;
Follow cGMP, Food Safety, and Quality guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
Sample lot numbers of incoming, expired, or compromised containers of raw materials as dictated by sampling paperwork, making sure the lots listed on the paperwork, sample jar labels, and container labels agree;
Ensure product is free from abnormalities, contamination, and foreign substances;
Inspect incoming or already inventoried raw materials for any signs of filth, extraneous materials, mold growth, or any other contamination, and notify Supervisor of any issues;
Measure for work orders and R&D samples;
Complete required paperwork, such as the Quality Evaluation Sample Sheet;
Verify product information (Quality Evaluation Sample);
Perform any other related duties as assigned;
Follow all safety procedures;
Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required;
0-1 year of experience in a similar setting preferred;
Ability to perform basic math and problem solving skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to follow cGMP and SOP guidelines;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Ability to follow detailed instructions and to perform daily tasks efficiently and independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
Ability to stand for an extended periods of time;
Must be able to wear any required PPE such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask;
Ability to work in a packaging area with a moderate powder substance in the air with or without a respirator;
Ability to work above shoulders;
Other physical requirements include frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bilateral wrist movement;
Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas;
Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
