ResponsibilitiesAs the Hospice Clinical Regulatory RN Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance through research, data collection,
development and coordination of related processes and reporting requirements; developing and maintaining policies, procedures and forms; assisting with overall administration of performanceimprovement programs; monitoring of quality patient care standards and ensuring clinical and regulatory compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as with accreditation standards.
  • Promotes compliance of agency operations with federal/state regulations and with accreditation standards through policy development, revision, and process improvement.
  • Provides support to care centers by answering concerns received through survey hotline and by collaborating with corporate, regional and care center leaders during surveys.
  • Provides educational support regarding regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Participates in the development, coordination and implementation of education and training programs as applicable.
  • Develops and reviews corporate performance improvement initiatives and organizational process reviews.
  • Ensures current and relevant resource material is readily available to agency staff.
  • Makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Reviews care center records as needed.
  • Prepares and submits statistical reports, presentations, and projects as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a registered nurse.
  • Experience researching regulatory data, interpreting regulations, and translating regulations to organizational policies.
  • Work experience at a home health or hospice agency.
Preferred
  • Five years of work experience.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
