As an Electrical Panel Assembler, you will work as part of a team to assemble and wire mechanical and electrical components using a variety of hand and power tools. The Electrical Panel Assembler will play a key role in this fast-paced and exciting department.WHAT JTS OFFERS:

- Assemble and wire mechanical and electrical components per instructions, specifications, and schematics.
- Layout and install electrical raceways including conduit, wire ways, and cable trays.
- Identify and apply methods, materials and the tools involved in the installation of electrical components of control panels.
- Execute project requirements, utilizing staff and materials to meet deadlines and production goals.
- Apply your knowledge of specific instructions, specifications, and schematics.
- Active coordination and communication with the team, lead supervisors, and management staff.
- Maintain safety in the department, ensuring all tasks are performed in a safe work environment, wearing proper PPE.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an industrial or construction setting.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the installation of electrical components of control panels.
- Must be able to lift and exert a force up to 50 lbs. occasionally when transporting materials on the job.
- Familiar with reading blueprints to determine placement of wire.
- Experience reading a tape measure.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
- Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work.
- Skilled at communication with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and appropriate manner - you are dependable, productive, and pay attention to details.
- Skilled at performing tasks in a safe manner and produce a high-quality product.
- Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-hour day.
- Ability to work independently while successfully functioning in a team environment.
- Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.
