- Develop and maintain detailed schedules, timelines, and milestones for new product launches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, marketing, and sales, ensuring optimal alignment based on skill sets.
- Lead and drive teams through the product development process, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among US and overseas team members.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting as necessary to meet objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Research and Development, and Product Marketing to align program goals with organizational objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in project management practices.
- Align with C-Suite on regular monthly status updates.
- Additional Duties as assigned.
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a consumer-based product development environment.
- Experience in lighting manufacturing, including LED technologies, optics, thermal management, drivers, and controls (wired/wireless).
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs from ideation to commercialization.
- Strong understanding of product development stages and working with overseas and US manufacturing.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Agile, Waterfall, Stage-Gate).
- Demonstrated success in risk management, stakeholder alignment, and delivering on high-visibility, high-impact initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
