Compensation: $110,000Job Overview - Senior Accountant - M&A - 33833We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a public accounting foundation to support complex accounting and reporting activities. This role will focus on technical accounting guidance, acquisition-related accounting, and financial close responsibilities while partnering with senior leadership to influence key business decisions. The position offers exposure to M&A, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration across multiple sectors.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including research, documentation, and position papers in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.Lead accounting for acquisitions and divestitures, including purchase price allocations, fair value calculations of intangible assets, and impairment reviews.Partner with leadership on transaction structuring and reporting impacts while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Manage aspects of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting for acquisition-related accounts.Collaborate with external auditors to address technical accounting matters and ensure compliance.Support budgeting/forecasting for assigned accounts and contribute to special projects.Drive process improvement initiatives, including automation (Power Platform/RPA) and SAP optimization.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.3-5 years of public accounting or audit experience (Big 4 or large firm strongly preferred).Minimum of 3 busy seasons in audit; at least 1 year at the Senior level.Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/US GAAP).Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.Additional Job DetailsWorkplace Policy: #li-HybridSeniority Level: AssociateLinked In Poster: #LI-AF1About our Process
