
Principal Inside Sales Representative

- Respond to and qualify all Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) received via website, external and internal Business Development efforts (Seminars, Trade Shows, etc.)
- Drive Sales - Independently and collaboratively by increasing market-share at existing accounts and by prospecting within their territory for new business opportunities.
- Sales Competencies - Identify opportunities to cross sell other complementary Waters Products.
- Customer Relationship Building - Communication with and sell to end users and decision makers.
- Business Development - Preparing and implementing comprehensive Business Development activities/strategies for assigned sales territory.
- Database Management - Utilizing Waters CRM to track sales activities, open opportunities and campaign follow-up initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. A science degree (e.g., chemistry, biology, food science, clinical science, nutrition) is preferred.
- 5+ years of laboratory and/or sales experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of environmental testing is desired.
- Effective “Diagnostic Selling” skills or willingess to learn.
- Candidate must be customer-focused and have exceptional written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills.
