Quality Assurance - QA Lab Technician 1st shift

Job Description:

Conducting metallurgical testing and analysis of metals and alloys
Preparing samples for microscopic examination, chemical analysis, and mechanical testing
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, hardness testers, and microscopes
Recording and interpreting test data, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to engineering teams
Performing failure analysis on metal components to determine causes of defects
Ensuring all laboratory procedures comply with industry standards and safety regulations
Participating in the development and improvement of testing methods and protocols
Collaborating with metallurgists and engineers to resolve technical issues
Maintaining accurate records of test results and laboratory activities
Assisting in research and development projects related to new materials and processes
