Join us to deliver innovative, cloud-native systems that power T-Mobile’s customer experiences — and lead the way in shaping our engineering culture!Job ResponsibilitiesSoftware DevelopmentArchitect, design, and maintain full-stack web solutions, including front-end (Angular), back-end (Java/Spring Boot, microservices), and databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL).Extend and optimize data storage mechanisms across relational and non-relational stores; provide performance tuning and schema design guidance.Independently design and implement complete software stacks that meet business and customer needs with long-term scalability in mind.Drive adoption of modern frameworks, reusable libraries, and engineering best practices across teams.Collaborate in Agile teams, break down complex features into stories, and ensure clear technical documentation.DevOps / Systems ReliabilityLead deployment and operations of applications across non-production and production environments with strong focus on resilience, scalability, and security.Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/Ansible).Build and maintain monitoring dashboards to track application and infrastructure health.Use Grafana (APM/observability) and Splunk (logging) to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability.Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native patterns to enable scalable, automated deployments.Continuously apply monitoring feedback and incident postmortems to improve service quality and prevent future issues.Technical Leadership & InnovationCollaborate with engineers, architects, and system teams to define and deliver scalable technical solutions.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical coaching.Introduce new patterns, frameworks, and cloud services that improve delivery, performance, and reliability.Influence technical direction, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and advocate for automation and quality-first practices.Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies in both software engineering and DevOps, bringing innovative ideas to T-Mobile.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Required).5–8+ years of software engineering experience in Agile/DevOps environments.Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, plus experience with C, C#, Python, Go, or scripting (Shell/Perl).Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Expertise in monitoring & logging tools (Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics).Strong architectural design, communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills.Preferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with business intelligence/reporting tools, especially Jaspersoft.Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code.Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives.
