The Housekeeping SupervisorThe Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.The Perks of Working with UsCompetitive pay plus comprehensive benefits (available day one of your first full month of employment)Generous PTO package, including your birthday as a paid holiday!Medical, dental and vision insurance401k with company matchEmployee assistance programTop Reasons to Work with UsFamily-owned and operated management companyTeam approach to workSmaller by design – Vantage Point is not a big national chain and that means more corporate involvement and support of the teamMake a difference in the lives of those who live with usDescription of responsibilities:Plan, develop, organize and lead the overall housekeeping and laundry operations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.Develop job flows and provide instruction for all cleaning and laundry tasksPerform cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areasMaintain equipment and materials in a clean and orderly mannerCollect trash and recyclingResponsible for collecting, cleaning, and redistributing community laundryResponsible for keeping the commercial laundry orderly, clean, and sanitaryEnsure safety procedures are followed including proper use of personal protective equipment, SDS, and Lockout TagoutMaintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Comply with all infection control techniquesLearn state regulations and ensure department compliance through supervising and coaching team membersEnsure all housekeeping tasks meet or exceed quality standardsOversee trash collection and removal in a timely and sanitary mannerProcess and submit monthly expensesSchedule housekeeping and laundry teammatesOrder janitorial supplies staying within budgetary guidelinesInspect and prepare all apartments prior to occupancyMeet with new residents to discuss housekeeping preferences and available servicesPerform other duties as assignedRequired experience:High School Diploma/GEDMinimum two (2) years supervisory experience including hiring, performance management, and daily operations supervision.Minimum three (3) years of housekeeping/laundry operations experience.Required skills:Ability to communicate effectivelyInterest in working with a senior populationDemonstrated customer service skillsOrganizational and time management skillsAbility to work a flexible scheduleWho Is Vantage Point Retirement Living?Headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, Vantage Point Retirement Living is a senior living development and management company that has been ensuring area seniors enjoy vibrant, carefree, and healthy lifestyles since 1995.
