Part-time Hourly Position Starting at $8.00 + tips hourly DOE plus benefits.Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our Sawmill Market.Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Work under direction of Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
- Communicate daily with restaurant leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
- Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
- Passionately deliver refined, seamless service.
- Answer menu questions, and offer recommendations to guests to create a memorable dining experience.
- Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Welcome guests to the unique dinning experience.
- Articulate the story, inspiration, and culinary mindset of the space to our guests.
- Respond to guest challenges and find the appropriate resolution in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of café register space.
- Handle all checks and cash according to procedures; accurately prepare tip reporting paperwork on time.
- Attend required training sessions or meetings.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
- Must be 21+ as it requires work around bar and alcohol.
- Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
- Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 15+ pounds frequently.
- Comfort with learning a point of sale systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
- 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
