Schedule: Swing Shift | Monday Thursday | 4:30 PM 3:00 AM

Opti Staffing is partnering with a long-standing precision manufacturing company in Clackamas, OR that specializes in high-tolerance machining and complex assemblies. Were looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join a team that values craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement.
What Youll Do:Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, wire EDM, sinker EDM, and various other precision equipmentPerform close-tolerance machining on prototype and production partsRead and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprintsMaintain tight tolerances of ±.001 on critical componentsApply in-depth knowledge of speeds, feeds, and cutting tools for various materialsPerform in-process inspections and adjustments to ensure part qualityCollaborate with engineering and quality teams on assemblies and custom jobs

What You Need to Have: The Musts:5+ years of CNC machining experience in a close-tolerance environmentStrong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and EDM machinesAbility to hold tolerances of ±.001Understanding of speeds and feeds for various metals and materialsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Preferred:Experience with prototype and low-volume production workFamiliarity with multi-axis CNC programming (a plus)
