About the job you’re consideringAs an experienced SAP FI Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules, with a strong focus on Indian localization and GST compliance.Your role
  • Lead and support SAP FI implementations in ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments, with a focus on tax integration across FICO, MM, and SD modules.
  • Configure and manage direct and indirect tax settings, including Withholding Tax, VAT, and country-specific tax procedures (India, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, etc.).
  • Collaborate on global tax setup projects and activate VAT reporting for European countries.
  • Integrate and configure external tax engines (Vertex preferred) and SAP DRC.
  • Ensure seamless cross-functional integration between SD-FI and MM-FI modules.
  • Implement and configure SAP FI modules with a focus on tax compliance.
  • Collaborate with global teams to set up and validate tax procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and SAP Basis teams for external tax engine integration.
  • Support VAT reporting and compliance for multiple geographies.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with legal and business requirements.
Your skills and experience
  • 5–8 years of SAP FI implementation experience in ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA.
  • Expertise in tax configuration and localization for multiple countries.
  • Hands-on experience with Vertex or similar external tax engines.
  • Strong understanding of SAP DRC and cross-module integration.
  • SAP FI certification and S/4HANA certification preferred.
