Pay Rate: $25 - $28/hour depending on experience
Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM). Overtime is available on Fridays.
Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a dependable and driven Maintenance Mechanic for a temp-to-hire position in the Shelton, CT area. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, modification, installation, and repair on a variety of production equipment, including large-scale presses.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Maintain secondary equipment such as tumblers, sanding equipment, cooling towers, and parts washers.
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Work with vendors to manage spare parts inventory and order replacements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations (OSHA) and quality standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a licensed mechanic or 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Basic electrical, welding, and fabricating skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with quality systems and safety regulations is preferred.
