Shift: 3pm-11:30pmDean's Professional Services is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EVS Technician to join our team in a hospital setting. The EVS Technician plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment that supports the healing process and ensures a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This position requires professionalism, teamwork, and a strong commitment to hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards.Responsibilities:Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.Clean and maintain building interiors, including floors, carpets, windows, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, and vents.Dust and sanitize furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures.Maintain patient and staff areas by re-supplying restrooms, changing curtains/drapes, and ensuring cleanliness.Collect, transport, and dispose of waste, including solid waste, recyclables, and biohazard materials, according to established guidelines.Safely operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment, reporting repair needs promptly.Use cleaning supplies and chemicals correctly, following all safety and dilution guidelines.Document cleaning activities and communicate effectively between shifts to ensure continuity.Follow infection control standards to protect patients, visitors, and staff.Attend scheduled training sessions and stay updated on policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Requirements:Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping, janitorial, or EVS experience (hospital or healthcare setting preferred).High school diploma or equivalent (required).Ability to follow detailed instructions and hospital safety standards.Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.Must be able to lift, push, and move equipment or supplies as required.Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work in a respected healthcare setting.Supportive and professional work environment.Dean's Professional Services is a national, award-winning staffing solutions firm.
