Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, conduct tests, and work with other departments to ensure products meet quality standards.Components of the role will focus upon:
- Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines.
- Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to identify defects and ensure they meet technical specifications.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues in production processes and recommend solutions to improve product quality and performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and compliance records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and support, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is typically required.
- Having relevant work experience in quality engineering or quality systems is essential, 3-5 years in the field.
- Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical analysis, and testing methodologies is crucial.
- With a demonstrated eye for detail and accuracy - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary to identify defects and ensure compliance with standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS system quality control.
- Understanding of BMS (Battery Management Systems), PCS (Power Conversion Systems).
- Experience working with global customers or regulatory compliance for international markets.
- Certifications in ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or equivalent.
