- Provide operational support to field operations.
- Assist in developing network infrastructures and make recommendations on system enhancements for optimization.
- Develop Monitoring strategies to maximize efficiency of Network Monitoring.
- Monitor and analyze network to improve system performance.
- Maintain items in monitoring software. Maintain alarming thresholds and systems.
- Coordinate and execute planned and emergency maintenance during maintenance windows.
- Hands-on administration of users, systems, computers, and/or networks;
- IT industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, JNCIA;
- Work experience in a NOC or SOC environment;
- Familiarity with Linux, VMware, Juniper or Calix equipment and systems;
- Understanding of TCP/IP and data networking;
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to pay attention to detail, that can handle multiple tasks, and keep both your teammates and customers updated with the status;
- Excellent communication skills; whether it's a face-to-face meeting, using our collaboration and messaging tools (Teams), video conferences, or email;
- A valid Colorado driver's license
