Retain and expand sales revenue within assigned accounts while driving new market share in the Federal vertical. Key Responsibilities
- Provide product information and conduct business analyses to understand customer communication needs. Develop benchmark demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions that exceed expectations, focusing on Federal Department of Defense and Civilian organizations.
- Coordinate post-sale delivery and implementation of Ricoh solutions at customer locations. Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales documentation.
- Proactively generate new customer contacts, review leads, participate in strategic planning, and present Ricoh solutions as directed by sales management.
- Engage in strategic planning with customers to identify, evaluate, and address at-risk accounts.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
- Lead cross-functional sales activities and manage team collaboration.
- Promote Ricoh products and represent the company at off-site customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of all account activity within the sales database.
- Identify key contacts within accounts and conduct strategic outreach.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, including at least 2 years in Federal Department of Defense and Civilian sectors.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies and processes in a matrixed Federal environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills tailored to Federal clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and self-motivation skills.
- Proven business acumen and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and develop strategic account plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry products and services.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships across business functions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
- Work is mostly sedentary but may involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting items under 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files).
- Requires moderate dexterity for tools such as calculators and keyboards.
- Daily travel to customer sites is required; locations may not be accessible via public transportation.
