Barry Callebaut seeks diverse and passionate people who thrive in a dynamic environment, focused on continuous learning, living BC's Values, and of course, loving chocolate.Responsible for all functions and record keeping involved in packaging loadout, pallet removal processes, unboxing, melting activities for Liquor and Butter, (including SAP and MES)performing all the operational activities of production, following the safety standards, quality and meeting its standards, Adheres to all GMP and HACCP operating proceduresKey responsibilities include:
  • Ensures that all machine processes are performed according to operating specifications
  • Ensures that all product ingredients are loaded into equipment to the correct levels
  • Perform equipment set-up and adjustments for processing
  • Manage/balance actual product flow through machines accordingly
  • Visually monitor machinery and product
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Has responsibility for the sanitation of the working area
  • Cross-train in all other areas of operation
  • Committed to providing a safe food product
  • Works within all regulatory requirements
  • Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements
  • Must comply with all OSHA standards
  • Perform all other related duties per management direction
About you:
  • High school diploma or equivalent,
  • Computer experience a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted on a continual basis
  • Certified forklift operator (Desirable)
