- Define, review, update, with the help of the Business Process Owners/Architects, the Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for business applications used across the region.
- Coordinate the implementation of changes related to the systems/applications used.
- Be responsible for all infrastructure site service and end user computing standards and teams in the region.
- Design and implement Windows-based server systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.
- Deploy, configure, and manage virtualization technologies using VMware, including vSphere, vCenter, and VMware Horizon.
- Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory, including domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and related infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows servers, virtual machines, and virtualization platforms.
- Collaborate with the network team to integrate Windows servers and virtual machines into the overall network infrastructure.
- Perform capacity planning and resource optimization for Windows servers and virtual machines.
- Monitor system health, performance, backup and security, and take appropriate actions to maintain optimal operation.
- Participate in the planning, execution, and documentation of system upgrades and migrations.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, including system administrators and support staff.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Windows server, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and implement new technologies or solutions.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of hardware, software, and tools for the IT infrastructure
- Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Five to seven years relatable experience within the infrastructure and end user support activities.
- Sound knowledge in ITIL processes and standard best practices.
- Strong experience as a Wintel Engineer, with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows server systems.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere and vCenter.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure VMs, Azure Active Directory, and Azure networking.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and other Windows infrastructure components.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience in managing IT projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional international team.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Azure certifications are a plus.
- Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and organize tasks.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to assess priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $135K
