Job Title: Sr. People Business Partner (Contract-to-Hire)Location: Scottsdale, AZAbout the RoleThis role is responsible for partnering with leaders and employees to drive people initiatives, enhance the employee experience, and ensure compliance with local labor practices. While part of the global Business Partner team, this role will focus heavily on hourly workforce and warehouse employee support and will require a hands-on HR Generalist approach.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for hourly employees and managers regarding employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and HR policies.Partner with business leaders to drive talent planning, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness.Implement global HR programs locally while tailoring them to reflect warehouse operations and hourly workforce needs.Support leaders in managing employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company HR practices.Partner with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, DEI, Learning & Development) to deliver effective people programs.Use HR metrics and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable insights.Support and guide leaders and employees through organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications7+ years of HR experience, including HR Generalist or HR Business Partner roles.Strong background in employee relations and operational HR supporting hourly employees and warehouse/manufacturing/distribution workforces.Proven ability to coach managers and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong knowledge of Arizona labor laws and HR best practices.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.Analytical mindset with experience using HR data/metrics to guide decision-making.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) preferred.
