Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis to help identify potential features and improvements for the software products
- Support the team in gathering and analyzing user feedback to inform product development decisions and prioritize enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and design, to help track and document the progress of ongoing projects and updates
- Participate in product meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and insights to the product strategy and road-map
- Help prepare and maintain product documentation, including user guides, feature specifications, and release notes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders
- Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Increase technology knowledge and skills
- Develop team-based work proficiencies
- Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Communications, Business Administration or Engineering
- Must have an anticipated graduation date between 2026-2029 for undergraduate students and 2026-2028 for graduate students
- Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data and user feedback to identify trends and insights that can inform product decisions. This involves being comfortable with tools for data analysis and having a knack for problem-solving
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Abilities: Effective communication skills are crucial for coordinating with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements, and articulating product visions. This also includes the ability to work well in a team setting and engage with different stakeholders
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Being open to learning new tools, methodologies, and industry trends, as well as the ability to adapt to changing environments and requirements
- Understanding of Product Management Principles: A foundational knowledge of product management processes, such as product lifecycle, market research, and user-centered design, can be beneficial. This could come from coursework, extracurricular activities, or independent study
- Technical Literacy: While not necessarily required to have deep technical expertise, having a basic understanding of technology and software development processes can aid in communicating effectively with engineering teams
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in tasks such as product documentation, requirement gathering, and feature specification
