- Build, deliver, configure, and maintain Database Cloud Infrastructure in AWS using industry standard deployment tools
- Establish database standards for operations, Database upgrades, Rehydration of EC2, Database Migrations
- Work with customers in gathering technical requirements for data migration needs
- Standardize and implement Cloud user management, security, capacity, monitoring and configuring application tools
- Writes clear, concise, well organized technical documentation to maintain standards and procedures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- 10+ years of IT database experience with progressive growth to technical lead
- Requires in depth knowledge on supporting and troubleshooting Databases like CockroachDB, DB2 & Neo4j
- Should have a strong understanding on AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, CFT, EBS, IAM, AWS CLI
- Experience in configuring and supporting of the monitoring and alerting tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch for proactive detection
- Strong experience in production support, capacity management and maintenance of high availability and Disaster recovery database systems for the large-scale databases
- Good scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, python, etc.)
- Knowledge on Continuous Integration and deployment through tools like Git Hub, Jenkins, Jenkin core, Terraform, etc.
- Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas, Investigate and resolve user raised Incidents, Problem management and service requests
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including a wide range of architectures and technologies
- Your ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, while providing leadership and abstract thinking
- You have experience collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Your ability to work in fast paced, highly demanding environment
