  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 8+ years' experience of graphic design, preferably in product (footwear and apparel) creation in-house or at an agency.
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities.
  • Master visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal and external audiences.
  • Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends, as well as visual culture.
  • Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives.
  • Master of graphic craft, typography, graphic applications, prints, processes and tools.
  • Strong Adobe CC skills (Illustrator & Photoshop) and comfortable working within new digital spaces.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ONYou’ll be responsible for creating original and trend-driven designs for Nike Kids Sportswear Apparel. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of graphics and composition, and the ability to translate design concepts into commercially viable on trend designs. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative problem solver who brings engagement and curiosity to the kids apparel graphics.Concepting and building out narratives that will inspire and influence our consumer. To accomplish this, you will collaborate with your design, development and business partners to ensure all details are recorded and delivered as presented. From trims to print applications and cost considerations you will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences. Accountabilities include but are not limited to speaking with athletes, consumers, external partners and contributing to the creative vision of Nike Kids. Leading team meetings and cascading critical information to ensure the project hits all deadlines.
