- Utilizes approved piece tickets to construct forms for specific precast concrete panels in conformance with the architectural specifications and applicable PCI requirements.
- Meets regularly with the Carpenter Foreman to discuss anticipated production sequences and potential form construction problems, and to provide input on improvement of work processes and work flow.
- Provides information to the Carpenter Foreman on the inventory status of all form-related material so that supplies and materials can be ordered in a timely fashion to ensure performance of scheduled work.
- Properly maintains tools and utilizes appropriate safety guards.
- Manages carpentry workload for self.
- Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
- Functions as a team player.
- Maintains plant safety in accordance with Company Safety Manual and under the direction of Plant Safety Coordinator.
- Education and Experience (Wage will be based on experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of recent general carpentry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years working with finish carpentry products such as cabinetry a other forms of woodworking.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures/specifications.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and piece tickets
