Overview:As a Snowmaker you are responsible for producing machine made snow for skiers and boarders while striving for quality and efficiency to help ensure early season terrain and ski season longevity. Loading, transporting and set up of snowmaking equipment on ski hill
Checking hoses, nozzles, pipelines, valves and other related equipment for repair or adjustment
Repositioning equipment periodically to direct snowfall to other designated areas
Monitoring, recognizing and adjusting production of snow as needed
Cleaning dirt and frozen snow from equipment
Recognizing and correcting unsafe equipment, placement of equipment and/or working conditions
Performing proper snow quality checks
Utilizing snowmobile safety operation guidelines
Qualifications:This position may be for you if:
You are at least 18 years old
Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
You enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
