Warehouse Associate – Processor

• Location: Ladson, SC
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts; overtime may vary.

• Environment: Warehouse/industrial setting

• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
• Carry needed tools and supplies from storage or trucks, and return them after use.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
• Adjust or replace equipment parts such as rollers, belts, plugs, and caps, using hand tools.
• Stack cargo in locations such as using pallets or cargo boards.
• Connect electrical equipment to power sources so that it can be tested before use.
• Bundle and band material using banding machines.
• Check out, or requisition all equipment needed for production.
• Sweep out cargo containers and storage areas.

• Prior warehouse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work in an non-climate controlled, open warehouse
• Valid driver’s license a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Must be comfortable walking for an extended period
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Must be able to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
