As a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll be using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to create positive change in the lives of children. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one support to children with developmental and behavioral challenges in their home or community settings, all while receiving PAID TRAINING TO BECOME AN RBT!Why Choose Achieving True Self?

- Implement ABA techniques: Use individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans to support children and their families.
- Collect data and document progress using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, and assist with administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with families: Support parents and caregivers in implementing behavior strategies to foster success at home and in the community.

- A deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families
- Professional experience with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., Nanny, Teacher, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, etc.) OR relevant educational background in psychology, sociology, education, or related fields
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (ride-sharing or public transportation are not permitted for this position)
- Ability to work evenings and after-school hours (client sessions are typically 2-6 hours long, Monday through Friday)
- Willingness to start part-time while your caseload grows
- Comfort using technology for documentation and administrative tasks
- Engage with kids in a meaningful way: Be a source of joy, fun, and inspiration for children while applying learning strategies.
- Support individual growth: Implement behavior intervention plans focused on the strengths and needs of each child.
- Data collection: Record detailed progress notes and data points in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
