You will ensure that Axway’s Cloud business around the world maintains and improves its position in providing the highest level of security commensurate with delivering an “Enterprise Cloud” class of service to our customers.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities:Working with the SVP of Global Operations and Managed Services, engaging cross-functionally with R&D, Technical Operations, Sales, Global Security Office and other stakeholders, your key areas of responsibilities are:
- Direct and facilitate the adoption, improvement, and monitoring of the entire Cloud Information Security Program
- Define, update, and document Cloud security policies
- Evaluate business and technical requirements to identify and implement state-of-the-art tools, processes, technologies as well as ensuring continuous improvement of existing compliance processes.
- Collaborate with senior business leaders in pre-sales activities to be impactful on Cloud Security business
- Callaborate with senior leaders in R&D, Product Management, Operations, as well as other business funtions
- Lead the Cloud response to all internal and external information security risk assessments, third-party audits, and regulatory requirements
- Improve Cloud security posture by driving incident response, vulnerability management program execution, effectively communicating security risks, developing meaningful action plans and tracking issues to resolution
- Serve as a first management point of contact for critical issues.
- Define, implement and report meaningful metrics to measure the effectiveness of security controls
- Maintain and improve the Cloud security control framework in support of corporate-wide programs
- Maintain and improve the Cloud Information Security Program documentation structure, supporting templates and standard procedures for Cloud Security Operations
- Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) ensuring cloud security policies are adhered to
- Lead a global team of 5-8 direct reports
- Results-driven and highly motivated individual able to handle multiple demands and engagements and coordinate execution
- Broad understanding of the security industry threat landscape
- Ability to communicate at a senior level with internal teams, customers, and partners
- Ability to embrace operational and business challenges
- Experience in managing a geographically dispersed team
- Technical knowledge of one or more of the following areas: IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment tools, remote access methodologies, log management tools, firewalls, cryptography, digital certificates, operating systems, and networking protocols
- 10+ years relevant experience in an Information Security management role, preferably with a cloud technology vendor
- 5+ years of management experience required
- Experience with one or more cloud providers, AWS and Azure preferred
- Must be a permanent US resident or US citizen and able to pass US Public Trust clearance
- Security certification, such as CISSP, CCSP or CISA
- Experience in managing industry security compliance and certification programs, such as SOC2 & ISO 27001
- Experience with SIEM solutions and vulnerability management tools
- Experience with HIPAA standards and principles preferred
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
