SUMMARYAs a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures.STATUS: Per DiemLOCATION: Newark Wayne Community HospitalDEPARTMENT: ImagingSCHEDULE: Day/EveningATTRIBUTES2 years college certificate or equivalentNYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) required within 1 year of hire.Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.RESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient serviceGeneral Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basisDocumentation.
