- Provide clients with tailored instructions and guidance for SUTA registration based on state-specific requirements
- Coordinate with clients to collect existing account information, login credentials, and necessary documentation
- Track progress and maintain accurate records to ensure all SUTA details are received and validated timely
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff of SUTA account information for ongoing reporting and remittance
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays in account setup by working closely with clients and state agencies as needed
- Create, update, and maintain process documentation and client instruction materials whenever procedures or regulations change
- Stay informed on current state SUTA regulations and adjust processes or guidance as necessary
- Conduct client calls, including scheduling, preparing meeting materials, reviewing processes with clients, and sending detailed recap emails
- Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills to deliver a professional, positive, and supportive client experience
- High school education
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Employment Tax preferred
- Experience with MasterTax preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadline
- Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and other departments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
