We’re looking for the best professionals in our markets who are interested in building a successful and rewarding career and be part of a focused, energetic team dedicated to delivering excellence to America’s small business owners.Position Summary:The Payroll Tax Implementation Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience for clients as they establish and transition their state unemployment tax (SUTA) accounts with our organization. This position serves as a primary point of contact for all SUTA-related setup needs during the implementation process, combining exceptional client service skills with strong attention to detail and process management.The Specialist will guide clients through the steps required to register for new SUTA accounts or provide existing account details, ensuring that all necessary information, documentation, and access credentials are collected accurately and on time. By delivering clear instructions, proactive follow-up, and responsive support, the Specialist helps clients meet deadlines and remain compliant with state unemployment tax requirements from day one.Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide clients with tailored instructions and guidance for SUTA registration based on state-specific requirements
  • Coordinate with clients to collect existing account information, login credentials, and necessary documentation
  • Track progress and maintain accurate records to ensure all SUTA details are received and validated timely
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff of SUTA account information for ongoing reporting and remittance
  • Identify and resolve any issues or delays in account setup by working closely with clients and state agencies as needed
  • Create, update, and maintain process documentation and client instruction materials whenever procedures or regulations change
  • Stay informed on current state SUTA regulations and adjust processes or guidance as necessary
  • Conduct client calls, including scheduling, preparing meeting materials, reviewing processes with clients, and sending detailed recap emails
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills to deliver a professional, positive, and supportive client experience
Required Skills and Experience:
  • High school education
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with Employment Tax preferred
  • Experience with MasterTax preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadline
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and other departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
