Ideal candidates will exemplify a can-do attitude, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial drive. Successful candidates will be proactive, solution-oriented, and have strong ownership of their work. The Porter will perform day-to-day cleaning and light building maintenance. Overall duties will include removing debris, cleaning interior and exterior areas of the community, maintaining common area amenity spaces, cleaning vacant apartments and responding to all cleaning emergencies. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.This is an in-person position located on-site of the property. This position requires a rotating on-call schedule and weekend availability.What You'll Do:
  • Complete minor repairs and building improvements
  • Prepare office for the day by cleaning the store front, office and lobby
  • Clean all common amenity areas including bathrooms, fitness center, community lounge, rooftop deck, pool lounge
  • Clean hallways, stairways, parking garage and elevators
  • When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet floor warning signs
  • Monitor bathrooms for cleanliness
  • Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
  • Remove litter and rubbish from all trash rooms
  • Power wash as needed
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned
Skills and Experience
  • 6 – 12 months porter experience
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Must be reliable and professional
  • Attention to detail
  • Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner

  • Ascend/descend a ladder to complete various maintenance tasks
  • Position self to install equipment in fixed spaces and at awkward angles in a repetitive manner and/or extended periods of time
  • Work in a space that includes indoor and outdoor spaces, with and without covering
  • Move throughout the property as needed
  • Transport boxes and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Communicate with other persons in the building
  • Observe details in surrounding areas and on a screen
