Allocates inventory to stock or to shipments. Prepares shipping documents for billing in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with well-defined procedures.Supports Accounts Payable by reviewing Invoices and Purchase Order Receipts for accuracy or providing vendor numbers and General Ledger (GL) coding for Invoices without Purchase Order. Generally maintains the accuracy of our Inventory system on a timely basis.Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
Input data of manufactured inventory consumed and created while insuring accurate and correct information.
Verifies manufacturing quantities and order status.
Inputs warehouse receipts and shipments from Production.
Verifies direct shipments, issues to the job, and prepares documents for billing of Buy-Out orders.
Supports both No Bill Close and Bill and Hold functions.
May assist Production Planning with pocket control distribution.
Review Invoices and match to Purchase Order Receipts.
Provide Vendor number and General Ledger coding for Invoices not supported by a Purchase Order.
File job pockets and stock releases in appropriate order and locations.
Transfer Inventory to proper locations.
Receive Purchase Order for in-house services, outside services, buyout orders, and support Receiving functions.
File Bills of Lading and Proof of Deliveries.
Pulling of samples, obtaining Proof of Deliveries, and providing to customers in support of billings as needed.
Collecting all production waste reports and recording regularly.
Coordinate weekly and monthly cycle counts.
Take leadership role on the Annual Physical Inventory in preparation and completion.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
Frequent exposure to manufacturing environment with one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions including but not limited to exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels, chemicals, etc.
Regularly required to hear, speak, be articulate, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, grasp, reach, carry, lift, and use manual dexterity.

Advanced degrees in Business or Accounting preferred but not required.
Typically possesses 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficient understanding of principles in one or more functions.
Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest, sales tax, proportions, percentages, volume.
Proficient computer skills including Excel and general office experience.
Experience with AS/400, JDE, or AppZen software preferred.
