School—Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Provide direct services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and classroom participation.
- Document daily therapy notes, progress reports, and maintain student records in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings when necessary and contribute to the goal-setting process.
- Travel between school sites (if required).
- Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Certification: Certified by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Licensure: Current Washington State COTA license.
- Experience: School-based experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
